Passover Seder Plate

Passover ritual meal is very special ceremony, usually held with many family members and guests who gather around the table for the festive re-telling of the story of Exodus. During the Seder, we eat six symbolic foods that commemorate the enslavement of the Israelites in Egypt: Maror, Charoset, Karpas, Chazeret, Zroa and a Roasted egg (Beiza).  The six traditional foods, which play an significant part of retelling the story of Exodus, are placed on a Seder plate.
